Paul Ludwick
Paul Ludwick has called Colorado home since 1986 and has built a reputation as one of Northern Colorado’s premier homebuilders. His path into building began in 1998, when he and his wife, Patti, served as General Contractors on their own home—an experience that proved so rewarding it changed the course of their lives. In 2001, Paul left a career in the corporate world to found PJL Custom Homes and pursue building full-time.
From concept through final delivery, Paul is known for keeping clients involved at every stage of the process—a commitment that has become a hallmark of the company. For Paul, Patti, and everyone invested in PJL Schmidt, that personal partnership with each customer is a genuine point of pride, and it continues to define the way the company builds today.

As a partner at PJL Schmidt, Cameron Schmidt brings a sharp eye for detail and a hands-on approach to every project. He leads client-facing strategy, guides critical engineering decisions, and oversees budgets to ensure each custom home is delivered with precision and care.
Cameron believes building a home is a deeply personal journey, and he takes the time to listen, to understand each client’s vision, and to walk alongside them with genuine care from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
